Feasting Off Love

  • 4 red baby potatoes (cut in half)
  • 4 white baby potatoes (cut in half)
  • 6 fresh sweet corn (sliced at a 90-degree slant)
  • Kielbasa sausage (cut in 1 inch pieces)
  • 8-12 whole baby carrots (trim ends)
  • 2 green bell peppers (cut into quarters)
  • 1 red onion (cut into quarters)
  • 6 whole garlic cloves
  • 2-4 pounds of shrimp
  • 1 pound of crawfish
  • 1 pound of crab
  • Chefism ® The Bay Seasoning or Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 pound clarified butter
  • lemon/limes
  • cilantro leaves

  1. Melt 1 pound of clarified butter; take a spoon and skim the white fat off top (discard after). Set melted butter aside.
  2. Boil potatoes for 8 minutes; add corn until soft and drain.
  3. While potatoes are boiling, sauté your kielbasa sausage, baby carrots, green bell peppers, red onion and garlic cloves for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Take a moment to enjoy those aromas created.
  5. Add cooked sausage to the potatoes/corn mixture.
  6. Sprinkle some of that BAY BAY (Cherfism ® Bay Seasoning) on your heavenly mixture.
  7. In the same skillet you sautéed the sausage, sauté your shrimp, crawfish, and crab. Put a lid on the skillet and give it a good ‘pot shuffle.’ Add some additional butter and Chefism ® The Bay.
  8. Add some water here and there to create some sexy steam.
  9. After 5-8 minutes of pot shuffling, you are nearly ready to “Feast Off Love.”
  10. Add the seafood mixture to the potatoes/sausage mixture.
  11. Sit down and come up with a name for all your babies in front of you.

Chefism Bonus: Garnish with cilantro and slice a few lemon and lime; the juice will give it some amazing flavor!

I found you sitting
in a red steel booth
When I saw you without a doubt
I had already knew
It felt like we were on some sort of Wi-Fi
or maybe it was Bluetooth
Butter had flies
As my high would rise
But you had that one guy
What’s his name?
My clock was more wise
My heart felt stranded
Your eyes left me
Empty handed
You were already branded
Not a sight to see
He only wanted to drive her
I wanted to go deeper
Scuba dive her
He was a pro at one thing
depriving her
I wanted to do one thing
Revive her
Feelings had come fast
Just like that drunk driver
She mustered up the nerve
And told him to swerve
It all through me for a loop
The greatest curve
She knew what she deserved
She was the main course
Not just hors d’oeuvre
Our eyes would catch a glimpse
And re-connect
My feelings would erect
We didn’t need to have sex
I approached her with some respect
She was single
Ready to mingle
Hugging her made me tingle
I felt young again
But this time
It wouldn’t be long
One minute ’You could float like a butterfly’
And the next ’Sting like a bee’
That highness
Became priceless
Your words would suffocate me
You were screaming
Being catty
You said that’s why yo moms left
yo crazy ass daddy
It was all done so damn carefree
Like that driver
I just had to flee
You didn’t even know
I already had scars
My soul came and left
It became brittle
It became hard
I went up in smoke
Burning to the third degree
That day you stung like a bee
I would have been on one knee
Our love plays
quite constantly
My body asked my soul
Can you eject this CD?
I need these feelings lost
I just have one question
Why didn’t you see my worth?
Wasn’t It 3-D?
